Siklus Pendinginan AC Mobil



Siklus Pendinginan Air Conditioners merupakan suatu rangkaian yang tertutup.Siklus pendinginan yang terjadi dapat digambarkan sebagai berikut :


a. Kompresor berputar menekan gas refrigerant dari evaporator yang bertemparatur tinggi, dengan bertambahnya tekanan maka temperaturnya juga semakin meningkat, hal ini diperlukan untuk mempermudah pelepasan panas refrigerant.

b. Gas refrigerant yang bertekanan dan bertemperatur tinggi masuk kedalam kondenser. Di dalam kondenser ini panas refrigerant dilepaskan dan terjadilah pengembunan sehingga refrigerant berubah menjadi zat cair.

c. Cairan refrigerant diatampung oleh receifer untuk disaring sampai evaporator membutuhkan refrigerant.

d. Expansion valve memancarkan refrigerant cair ini sehingga berbentuk gas dan cairan yang bertemperatur dan bertekanan rendah.

e. Gas refrigerant yang dingin dan berembun ini mengalir kedalam evaporator untuk mendinginkan udara yang mengalir melalui sela-sela fin evaporator, sehingga udara tersebut menjadi dingin seperti yang dibutuhkan oleh para penumpang mobil.

f. Gas refrigerant kembali ke kompresor untuk dicairkan kembali di condenser.
